
Premi whipped this out in no time today and I got to enjoy it for lunch, so I have to put it down.
Here's how you can make it:
Ingredients:
- Bread, of course. This used the organic multi-grain artisan bread from TJ
- Cheese (jalapeno jack)
- Avocado
- Tofu (brined and grilled)
- Salsa (recipe below)
- Cukes
- pesto, mayo, salt, pepper, butter
Salsa: Chop fresh tomato, cerrano chilies, garlic, onions and cilantro into a bowl, add lemon juice and mix.
Tofu: Cut into large slices (2" square) and soak in warm salted water for 30 mins. Grill or sautee with a little oil.
Try it, I guarantee you'll salivate as you contemplate your work of art and substance.
